Hi Everyone,
ReplyDeleteWe welcome your comments on the wonderful items we have on our site. Please feel free to contact us at (907) 563-3877
We visited Mr. Gus on the way back from a Bear hunt with George Faeber in Trapper Creek. I needed to pick up some small items for my three childern and wife too. I was traveling light and needed something unique and "Alaskan". The Fur exchange had it in spades. All were a big hit with kids used to plastic China crap! Thanks again and I really enjoyed the visit. An amazing inventory. I'll order something soon.

My favorite store in Anchorage. Museum quality Alaska products. Antiques, Native American products, nice and reasonably priced jewelry. Great place to take pictures with furs, animal skins, bones.
ReplyDeleteSuper friendly people. You can find something unusual here.

I have a question this is for my Alaska studies project and the question is ho much would Sea Otter fur sell for or whats it's value?
ReplyDeleteI don’t believe anyone can buy or sell sea otter fur as it is an endangered species.
DeleteDear house_fell_on_my_sister....
ReplyDeleteSea Otter skins are highly regulated and can only be used by Alaskan Natives. We do not sell them and only buy finished products from Alaskan Natives. Have fun with your project.

Happy New Year to all of our faithful and wonderful customers and friends.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the masks by Tim Ford. I live in Michigan, near Detroit. I am an Iditarod volunteer (since 2001) & always stop at your shop before heading home. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI didnt see the back corner where the masks are, by other artists. I wanted to order one for myself as a Christmas gift. I will keep looking. I doubt if I come up this year in February/march.
